Where there's a will...

...there's a way!

Bit-by-bit I'm "finding myself" with the transforming website business. Maybe my selective OCD makes a simpl thing much more difficult than it should be, but I have to please myself before I can present anything to you!

I was happily working on my eclectic graphics and getting pages ready to go when, as I told you before, the bottom fell out of everything. If you have been keeping up with me and have noticed the changes here, I removed my affiliate links from my now-former, short-term, big-name web host. Let me tell you something: just because you see commercials on television, and just because other people tell you a thing is good, that does not necessarily make it good for you! And if it doesn't work for me, I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy, even if it could potentially cost me commissions as an affiliate.

My new hosting service is Bluehost, and as soon as I can get the affiliation set up I will be adding that link here. The total experience with them has been incomparably better than "that certain other" host! And they don't want more money from you every time you communicate with them, which is great for a person on a restricted budget! Don't have the bottom-line figures yet, but at the worst, the cost of this education won't send me to the poorhouse this month. And now I'm all set up for a very long time, so as long as the Internet remains and the world doesn't collapse, I'll be around!

AND, with the hosting change I got a new domain name. That's usually a benefit when you move to a new company. So, what was it to be???? I won't bother you with the details behind the choice, but it's Moonlight and Whippoorwills. There's nothing there yet -- at least nothing more than a front page, but now I have to completely change my plans...again. Been working on graphics (a very slow process), and other details that wouldn't interest you in the least. I am hoping to have more things up and running within a few more days, though. Will be keeping you posted. Maybe a time will come when this will all make sense! lol

The moon comes up behind the hill,
Whip-poor-will, whip-poor-will, whip-poor-will!
The forest trees are dark and still,
Whip-poor-will, whip-poor-will, whip-poor-will!
O lonely birds that loudly call!
I wonder if you sleep at all.
Whip-poor-will, whip-poor-will, whip-poor-will!

With tender light the meadows fill,
Whip-poor-will, whip-poor-will, whip-poor-will!
In sliding silver flows the rill,
Whip-poor-will, whip-poor-will, whip-poor-will!
While eager voices seem to say
Our singing turns the night to day!
Whip-poor-will, whip-poor-will, whip-poor-will!
